Priceline Hotel: 3.5* NYC (ESB) Affinia Shelburne

Am returning to NYC with wife and two daughters, aged 19 and 16. Looking for clean, fun smaller hotel (if possible) in CPS, UWS, UES. Would you recommend bidding for two rooms? Am experienced PL bidder with rebid experience. Budget is $135/room (that is $270/night for all four of us). Recommend? Liked look fo 3.5* best value in CPS, but don;t know what hotels are there in that class. Meridien (4*) would be fine too. Help! Will def use your PRICELINE link.
