Metrojan Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Started at $90 for 5 star for London April 29 to May 2 and increased to $95 without success. Changed to 4 star and added Bloomsbury - Marble Arch, Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge, Mayfair - Soho, Notting Hill - Bayswater, The City And London Bridge, Westminster and offered $70. Priceline counteroffered with $95. Next day I offered $80 and got London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale. It's a bit farther out than I'd wanted but it really doesn't matter in London where you can get places so quickly on The Tube or bus. Plus, it's very close to gorgeous REgents Park and Paddington Station. My winning bid seems to be at least $50 lower than any printed rate so I'm pretty happy.
