silverm0623 Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 trying to figure out what this hotel could be because the amenities are not any of the ones listed in the list. travel date from 5/30/2010-06/01/2010It's boutique, has fitness, business center, internet, golf, and tennis amenities listed. At first I thought it was Hotel Monaco but it doesn't have a restaurant and it shouldn't have tennis listed with it.anybody have any idea what this could be? it's $104/night which is a steal i think but it states only 75% of customers would recommend it.
thereuare Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! The Washington Court Hotel has previously been seen with this amenity combination, but at the 3.5* level. This property may have been been upgraded to the 4* level and that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. silverm0623 Posted March 6, 2010 Author Report Posted March 6, 2010 Went through the PRICELINE link and started bid at around $100 knowing it was Memorial Day Weekend and probably wouldn't be able to get a 4-star hotel for cheap especially in downtown. Ended up getting St. Gregory Hotel and Suites which honestly was not what I was looking for. Was kind of hoping for something closer to the Metro and closer to the White House (especially when a lot of reviews notes its more in DuPont and Foggy Bottom). Also disappointed since on the HOTWIRE Link I found the Hotel Palomar in DuPont Circle for the same price for the same time period and should have jumped on that instead. Overall not too disappointed and hopefully will be sightseeing more than staying in the hotel room.
AaronJB Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Sorry to hear that you're a little disappointed with the result, but this still does look like a good price for this property.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay
