wrob Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 It's almost certainly the Pullman Eiffel Tower (formerly Hilton) at the corner of Ave Suffren and Rue Jean Rey. The hotel is showing it's age and needs a refurb. I understand both the heat andA/C no longer work properly.... in April you should be okay. Rooms are slightlylarger than the Paris norm... we had a cot for our teenage daughter and the 3 of us still had room to walk around the room. You can't do that in manyParis hotel rooms! We stayed for a week in the summer of 2008 and luckily it never got too hot.We found the location fine as there is a metro at Bir Hakeim just around the cornerand the RER runs along the river not far from the hotel. And of course, the EiffelTower is close enough to touch.I'd stay again on a Hotwire or Priceline bid... if memory serves I got it on PLfor $141. No way would I pay the hotel's rack rate but I could live with the HOTWIRErate you've got. Good luck! And use the HOTWIRE link here on the site!Rob
