It's almost certainly the Pullman Eiffel Tower (formerly Hilton) at the corner of

Ave Suffren and Rue Jean Rey.

The hotel is showing it's age and needs a refurb. I understand both the heat and

A/C no longer work properly.... in April you should be okay. Rooms are slightly

larger than the Paris norm... we had a cot for our teenage daughter and the

3 of us still had room to walk around the room. You can't do that in many

Paris hotel rooms!

We stayed for a week in the summer of 2008 and luckily it never got too hot.

We found the location fine as there is a metro at Bir Hakeim just around the corner

and the RER runs along the river not far from the hotel. And of course, the Eiffel

Tower is close enough to touch.

I'd stay again on a Hotwire or Priceline bid... if memory serves I got it on PL

for $141. No way would I pay the hotel's rack rate but I could live with the HOTWIRE

rate you've got.

Good luck! And use the HOTWIRE link here on the site!
