seattleee Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 I started the bidding at $95 and went up $5 (three different 24 hour periods) until I got $140. My wife wanted to stay at the Hyatt, so we were happy to get it. I had seen the Hyatt go for ~$120 earlier, but I can't complain about $140. It does seem like the prices are floating up since January though...perhaps a little more optimism in the economy combined with spring break and family vacations.I used the PRICELINE link on betterbidding.com page to book this vacation.
AaronJB Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Congratulations on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Rates are date-specific, so these dates may have been a little busier. Still, looks like a very nice deal.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay
mhatashi Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I tried to use this PRICELINE link to bid on a 4 star resort in Kaanapali-Lahaina with the hope of receiving the Hyatt for dates 5/20-5/22. When I put in the date and click on the Kaanapali-Lahaina button, there is no 4 star option button. I've tried lots of other dates to check and see if this just means there is nothing available on that date but I can't get the 4 star option button to appear for Kaanapali-Lahaina. Am I doing something wrong. EDIT:Oops, I just realized that I should be using the resort button. Are all resorts 4 star and up? The only ones I've seen for Kaanapali-Lahaina are Hyatt and Sheraton which both seem very nice. Are there any others I might end up with?
