thereuare Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your results with the board.Sorry to hear about the additional charge... if you were only 2adults (or 2adults + 1child) i would contact HOTWIRE regarding the additional charge, since your triple occupancy purchase should have ensured separate beds. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. If you do contact HOTWIRE please let us know the outcome. atltravelmom Posted March 22, 2010 Author Report Posted March 22, 2010 Follow up regarding the extra bedding charge for child (2 adults and 1 child specified at the time of booking):We were offered 25 HotDollars for the inconvenience and told "by hotel industry standards, each bed accommodates two guests." Not sure this is guaranteed bedding policy if you are offered bedding that only sleeps two adults, when you specified a child at booking, but that was Hotwire's response. Most of our bookings through Hotwire have been great, this seems to be an exception with regards to extra charges. The extra bedding charge ended up the equivalent of $140 USD for two nights. Please take this into consideration when identifying this hotel for more than 2 adults. The rooms at this property seem to only accommodate 2 adults.
