Want to stay in this area because I will be going to the Big East Tourney on Thursday the 11th.

Any ideas? I thought maybe the New Yorker Ramada, but I have seen threads here listing that as both 3 and 3.5*.

It is probably for just 3/11, but I am considering going up 3/10 as well. I ran both and came up with same choices/prices.

It was indeed the New Yorker. Final price (taxes included) came to $143. The price for the same room on Hotels.com was $208. So savings of 31%. Not too bad!
