Please help me identify a 3.5* Hotel in Lakeland. Stay is for 2 adults 3/5 - 3/6/10.

It is being offered at $79 and amenities are: Fitness Center, Restaurant & High-Speed Internet Access?

Could it be the Hilton Garden Inn?

The nite above includes the first nite of your previous Hotwire Orlando thread... have you changed the dates of your arrival into Orlando, booked something there for 3/6-3/8, changed your destination entirely, or are your plans not yet firm?

My dates have not changed, we are still traveling tomorrow for one night only. We need to be in Winter Haven for all of Saturday so we are looking to stay somewhere in the area for Friday night. Unfortunately, Winter Haven is not a good area so we are looking to stay either in Lakeland, which is 10 minutes away, in ChampionsGate which is 35 minutes away or even Downtown Tampa which is an hour away - wherever we can find somewhere to stay. Unfortunately, Detroit Tigers and Yankee Training begins this weekend so it is making it extremely difficult.

Any help you can give would be most appreciated. Thanks again!

The dates of your Hotwire Orlando stay have changed since you no longer intend to be in that area for the first nite of the dates posted. Have you made any plans for the other nites of your stay (presumably in Orlando??)... please don't forget to update that thread with any results/purchases/decisions you have made for that leg of your stay.

The property above has not yet been reported to the board, but if i were to take a guess, i think the Sheraton Riverwalk would be among the likely candidates.

I apologize, for not realizing earlier that you were not referring two the posts above (please bear with me, I am new at this). I see where I confused you and you are correct, we changed our plans to just the one night instead. Therefore, I just needed a hotel within a 1 hour radius of where we were going to spend Saturday.

I decided that Downtown Tampa would be too far and since the hotel in Lakeland could not be identified and the "better hotels" are all sold out.....we went with the Omni @ ChampionsGate instead. I did post my win yesterday.

I apologize for the confusion, I honestly was trying to find a hotel as close as possible that was as nice as possible. As always, thank you for your help.
