Hotwire's bid-specific email

Of late, I've been getting email from hotwire essentially saying "We're now able to offer you lower rates for those February dates you were searching for."

I wind up doing a lot of hotwire "comparison shopping" searches (I use the info to help formulate my priceline bids), so I've been getting a fair number of these emails lately. Even if I don't use the new hotwire deal, it does alert me to a new listing that might be available on priceline as well.

If you don't mind getting such junk mail, this might be a good reason to log in to hotwire before searching.
