LoneStar Posted January 28, 2005 Report Share Posted January 28, 2005 Of late, I've been getting email from hotwire essentially saying "We're now able to offer you lower rates for those February dates you were searching for."I wind up doing a lot of hotwire "comparison shopping" searches (I use the info to help formulate my priceline bids), so I've been getting a fair number of these emails lately. Even if I don't use the new hotwire deal, it does alert me to a new listing that might be available on priceline as well.If you don't mind getting such junk mail, this might be a good reason to log in to hotwire before searching.
