Hotwire Hotel: 2* NYC (Central Park) Woogo Lincoln Center

Four weeks before our end of February stay, we booked with Hotwire the 2* NYC (Central Park) Studio with the following facilities:

Kitchen, In-Room Laundry, Fitness Center, Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet Access.

The rate was $64/ight and with taxes and fees became $80/night. As expected, it turned out to be the WooGo Central Park.

Two weeks after the reservation, Hotwire contacted us to informed that the room didn't have Laundry Facilities, so they offered the possibility of cancellation with full refund plus $50 Hotwire credit (Hotdollars), or keep the reservation and get 50% of the total cost (i.e. $120) in Hotdollars. I found this to be very decent from Hotwire and we chose the 2nd option (we were not planning to do laundry in NYC anyway).

We were quit satisfied with the place. The location is very good; the room was clean and in good shape as it was recently remodeled; having a fridge, table, plates and cutlery was very convenient for breakfast (great supermarket one block away). There is no service (daily cleaning, wake up calls, information, etc), but that was not relevant for us.

The room was a bit hot, and it would be nice if they would provide some basic supplies such as dish detergent, salt, pepper, tea bags, etc, but these are really minor issues.
