mjohare Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 I would love to get the Intercontinental Park Lane for around to $150 for 5/7/10-16/7/10. Anybody have any tips on how I should do the bidding to help make this happen?

thereuare Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 The 4* HOTWIRE hotel has not yet been reported to the board. The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury and the Holiday Inn Regents Park have each been reported with this amenity combination, but at the 3.5* level... it's possible that one (or both) of these have been upgraded to the 4* level, although no evidence of this as of yet, so just speculation. As far as the Intercontinental Park Lane, you can't bid for or target a specific hotel when bidding on PRICELINE... are you willing to accept any 5* hotel in the Mayfair-Soho zone? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. wrob Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 I've been watching the InterContinental as well for an upcoming trip. The only way you canbe 'pretty sure' of getting it is using HOTWIRE as it's the only known 5* HOTWIRE in the Mayfair/Soho zone. As the Admin has noted, with PL you could get a different hotel. The price I'm seeing for my dates in July is $184. This is higher than your target butwhen you consider 50 bucks a night extra and the hotel's own site starts at $500 a nightyou are still getting a great deal especially for London!
