Priceline Hotel: Priceline - Asking for a second bed

I'm considering PRICELINE to book for a trip in May. I know that you aren't guaranteed 2 beds, that it's at the hotel's discretion, but what have people's experiences been when making this request?

Overall, in terms of PRICELINE and using it for two beds, one has to go into the experience expecting not to get 2 beds. The hotel could say no, could charge an upgrade fee or may be willing to work with you. It differs from city-to-city (NYC is almost certainly a no, it may be easier in Orlando) and from hotel-to-hotel, day-to-day and may depend on who you talk to.

HOTWIRE is better in this regard, as if you search for more than 2 people, you will get bedding for more than 2.
