sweetiek23 Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Hi I am doing this for the first time and needed some help. Im looking to get a hotel in downtown Chicago, from 3/12-3/14/ My budget is 115 and below for a 4 star and up. How should I proceed? Thankskavita
AaronJB Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Are you interested in either the River North/NMA area or the Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park area of downtown (those are the two main downtown zones on PRICELINE) or both? Additionally, is your budget $115 "all-in" (including tax) or is your budget $115 + taxes/fees?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
sweetiek23 Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 Im interested in both, and prefer 115 with taxes included per night.

sweetiek23 Posted July 18, 2010 Author Report Posted July 18, 2010 I ended up not bidding on a hotel, but got one from the HOTWIRE site. I got the 4 1/2* Intercontinental for 102/night. Overall, it was a nice hotel, but it was pretty old inside and the rooms were somewhat small. the location is ideal though.thanks!
