Kyra Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Hello, I was hoping for some help with Priceline. I am going to a wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich, CT on April 10th. I would really like to stay at that hotel for the night, but don't want to pay the $100 rate. From trip advisor it looks like it is the only hotel in Old Greenwich. Is there a way to specify a town rather than area (lower fairfield county)? I really only want to stay at this hotel. Is Priceline too risky? Would it be better to use hotwire? Thanks, Kyra

thereuare Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 There are other 3.5* rated hotels in the Greenwich zone besides the Hyatt, so i'm assuming that PRICELINE is going to be too risky for you.HOTWIRE may be an option, but in all likelihood won't be... what are the date(s) of your stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Kyra Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 I would like to stay the night of Saturday 4/10 (and maybe Friday 4/9) if I get a good rate.
thereuare Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 I don't see anything on HOTWIRE which would give me a high degree of confidence that it is the Hyatt. You'll either need to be willing to accept other hotels in the area/zone OR book at the wedding rate. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
