alemae17 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 We are traveliing to NYC with my family. We will need 4 ppl to a room since there are kids traveling with us. We really don't care where we stay as long as its central to sightseeing. Central Park or Time Square would be ideal, but not necassary. Any suggestions as far as bidding goes.
AaronJB Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Good afternoon. :)The problem with PRICELINE and NYC is that rooms in NYC are traditionally (and commonly) small. Also, PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy, so HOTWIRE would be the best choice in this situation. What would be your desired budget per night? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
alemae17 Posted March 1, 2010 Author Report Posted March 1, 2010 We can do up to 150 a night, which isn't much considering its NYC.
thereuare Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Since you need quad occupancy i don't think PRICELINE is a realistic option, but HOTWIRE is... however, searching for your dates and 2adults/2children, there is nothing which appears within your $150/nite budget.Closest offering(s) are a 3* Downtown (not that central to sightseeing) for $179/nite OR a 3* in the MTC zone for $184/nite. Are you able to stretch your budget a bit or do you have any back-up plan if you're unable to find anything at $150 or under?Would staying outside of the city in an area that is commutable by bus/train be an option? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
