Hotwire Hotel: 3* Harrisburg (Central) Holiday Inn Express East

Disappointed with the stay. The room smelled heavily of chemicals when I arrived, so I burned a lightly scented candle on the first day (something I have done in other HI Expresses) and was threatened by the desk staff to be charged for $250 for "smoking" 4 days later just because they saw the candle in a bag I had. I told them if they could tell me what kind of candle it was by smelling the room they were welcomed to charge me money. Of course that didn't happen.

There was one good staff member, the night guy. Other than that though I'd avoid this place. Aside from the candle incident I was treated extremely poorly by every other staff member.

Sorry about that! It's on Union Deposit Rd which is Harrisburg East.

HOTWIRE doesn't use a "East" zone in this area... this property is located in the "Central" zone and i've edited the topic title accordingly.
