AmyG07 Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 I am traveling with my husband to St Louis for my birthday. We want to visit the Arch, and Anheseur Bush. I would love to stay somewhere with a view of the arch. Any suggestions, this is our first trip to St Louis.
AaronJB Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)What would be your desired budget? Some hotels provide arch views, but there is no way of guaranteeing that through PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, since an arch view would likely be an upgrade and PRICELINE/HOTWIRE reservations are not eligible for upgrades. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
AmyG07 Posted February 28, 2010 Author Report Posted February 28, 2010 I will definitely be using the PRICELINE link through betterbidding. This is a great site. I would like to spend anywhere up to $80 a night. I understand we can't be guaranteed an arch view through priceline. I'm assuming from the research I have done that the best location to bid on would be the downtown area? But we are open to suggestions as this is our first trip and no nothing about the St Louis area.
thereuare Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 At the 4* level you have EIGHT re-bid zones. AaronJB Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 If you do want to guarantee an archview, the Hilton at the Ballpark has an upgraded archview room for $90.66 and coupon code 10WINTER takes $10 off = $80.66.Expedia also has the Hyatt at the Riverfront for $79 on Expedia w/an option that includes breakfast for 2. Additionally, 10WINTER also takes $10 off = $69.Please use the site's Expedia link if either of these ideas are of interest.
AmyG07 Posted March 2, 2010 Author Report Posted March 2, 2010 I did exactly as you said and got the Hyatt Regency St Louis at the Arch for $43/night on the second rebid. Thank you SO much. I used the PRICELINE link directly from this site.
