It's not that easy :)

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You need to be willing to stay at any 4* or higher in the zone you're bidding at. And PRICELINE only guarantee a room for 2 adults. That could mean a room with 1 bed.

If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive.

It's not PRICELINE's decision... it would be up to the hotel, so you would call them after you book and find out the name of the hotel.

Sometimes a hotel will let you switch your room to one with two beds, sometimes not, and the usual response is that the room will be assigned at check-in based upon availability. Also note that at some hotels a room with two beds is considered an upgrade, so if the hotel is available/willing to give you a room with two beds, there could be an additional charge.

Lastly, as noted above, you can't bid specifically on the Omni and need to be willing to accept a hotel anywhere in the zone at the star rating or higher that you choose.

What would you do if you receive a hotel that is unable, or unwilling, to offer you a room with two beds?
