Hannie Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 Hello,I want to book the doubletree quest suites at times square for 4 nights may 7-may 11We are traveling with 2 adults and 1 child 12years old. When I look for the four nights together i see the doubletree for around$219I think it is the doubletree because this is the only suite hotel at TSWhen I look at the dates seperately then I don't see this hotel at may 7 and 8.May 9 for $159 and may 10 for $289 $159 is a price i am willing to pay.Is it possible to book a single night (may 9) and add the other nights for the same price? What is the best strategy?Greetings,Hannie
AaronJB Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 Good evening. :)There is no way to "add a night" via HOTWIRE; the $219 price for all four dates is the available price for this set of dates. What would be your desired max budget per night for these dates? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Hannie Posted February 28, 2010 Author Report Posted February 28, 2010 Good evening. :) What would be your desired max budget per night for these dates? My max price is around$150.Should I wait?
AaronJB Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 I wouldn't wait - this is the busier Spring season and if you wait, you could come back to see prices have gone up even further. Are you willing to consider other areas nearby TS, or are you only interested in TS? Expedia has the Eastgate Tower for $150 non-refundable/$160 refundable for a junior suite and coupon code 10WINTER takes $10 off per night. That would be more like an apartment than the Doubletree - the Eastgate would have a kitchenette and the Doubletree does not. The Eastgate would be a few blocks from Grand Central Station, in Midtown East. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE (or Expedia.com) links to start your purchases and searches.
Hannie Posted February 28, 2010 Author Report Posted February 28, 2010 Thanx, that's a good tip! This apartment looks good.MTE is also Ok.Do you know more of this type hotels?
AaronJB Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 There aren't many - and some get some very negative reviews - this was the only one that appeared on Expedia within the price range you desired. The other two that are well-regarded are the Murray Hill Suites and the Beekman Tower.
Hannie Posted March 1, 2010 Author Report Posted March 1, 2010 I booked the eastgate tower as backup with a refundable rate. And I keep looking if a better price comes up for the doubletree at TS.Thanks for your help.ps Maybe you see me with question for other states aswell , that's because we go to the states twice this year(may orlando & NY) (summer westcoast)
AaronJB Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Awesome deal, and thank you for using the site's Expedia.com link. The Eastgate is also in a nice area of the city.Enjoy your stay.
