sadiejay Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 I just received a quote of $202 per night for a four star hotel in San Juan from 3/3/10 to 3/9/10. The amenities listed are:ResortBeachfrontCasinoPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry FacilitiesHigh Speed Internet AccessTennis NearbySpa Services. We would really like to stay at the Intercontinental or the Marriott and are hoping this is one of those two places. It appears from some other postings on this site that the Conrad Candado and the Caribe Hilton typically list the exact same amenities as the Intercontinental, though both of those hotels show up on Expedia as not having availability during our dates. Is that enough to be sure it isn't one of them? More importantly, I saw that Expedia lists the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino as also being a four star hotel, but I wasn't able to find any postings here for that hotel. Do you think there is any chance the hotel quoted on Hotwire is the Sheraton? My gut is that it is the Intercontinental, but I'm not sure if it's worth taking the risk if it turns out to be the Sheraton. Many many thanks for any advice you have!
sadiejay Posted February 25, 2010 Author Report Posted February 25, 2010 I got impatient and went ahead and booked it. It was indeed the Intercontinental, as I'd hoped.
