thereuare
Thanks for posting this.Interesting to note that there is both a Marriott and a Courtyard by Marriott in the Downtown zone, both of which are rated 3 stars (i would think that the Courtyard would have a slightly lower rating).Unless i'm mistaken that these hotels are in different zones and or rated differently.PS- no need to turn this into a discussion about star ratings and how they're determined Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
TravelGuy
Both Marriotts are in the downtown zone and are about a mile and a quarter apart. The Courtyard used to be 2.5* but was upgraded to 3* not too long ago. I think it merits 3*, as do most Courtyards, and would have been perfectly happy to get that. But the Marriott Eaton Centre is a really terriffic hotel, rated Mobil 4* and AAA 4 diamonds. Lucky bid because, not only did I avoid getting the Strathcona, a Priceline 3* that should really be a 2*, but got the Marriott, a Priceline 3*, that should really be a 4*. Link to comment
