travelmommy34 Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 I'm trying to get Turtle Bay on North Shore and I've been bidding for days. I'm up to 115.00 which I've seen this hotel going for 211.00 on the other discount sites. I'm looking for 4/1/10-4/10/10. Anyone have any idea how much more it's going to take? Am I not getting 50% off because of the time period I'm bidding on?

travelmommy34 Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 Sadly I gave up on Oahu North Shore. Started very low at $85 and spent a few days bidding all the way up to $135.00 today. Bidding on dates of 4/1/10-4/10/10.Ended up with Resort Marriott Waikiki Beach & Spa for $105. Also started that one very low days ago at $85 for the same dates as above.I have some regret giving up on North Shore but I didn't know how much higher that it was going to get and I need to save money for activities while we're there.
AaronJB Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 Congratulations on your success. :)Sorry to hear that you were not able to get a hotel on the North Shore, but this looks like quite a good deal for this Marriott property, and a nice savings.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
