3 star lbv/downtown disney

someone has posted that it was the country inn and suites. but when i look for vacation packes it has the country inn and suites listed as 2.5*. the one i m currently looking at has ammenities listed as

complementary breakfast

fitness center

pool

business center

coin op laundry

highspeed internet.

it is listed as $42 a night. i am confused as to which property it could be. any help would be greatly appreciated. and to anyone who has stayed in a hotel in this area, is it worth the money you save to be far from the disney world parks?

I'll try your last question since I am not sure on your hotel identification question. I think if you are comparing a Disney value to offsite, it is hard to beat Disney especially if Disney is offering discounts on rooms. If you need to rent a car, you will have the added rental expense plus paying the daily parking fees of $ 14 at the parks. However, staying offsite can save on other expenses though such as more dining and shopping options. I think for Disney Moderates and Deluxes, you can save more money staying off-site at a comparable hotel. LBV is very close to Disney, so you are not really far from the parks. If you do not have a car or plan on renting a car, I personally would not stay off-site because the off-site hotel shuttles are not very frequent (with the exception of maybe the DTD hotels). Most people will have different viewpoints on offsite vs. on-site. I would say if you feel your vacation would be lessened by staying off-site, I would stay on-site unless you are on a very tight budget. I personally prefer to stay off-site as like to get away from the Disney atmosphere once I leave the parks.

yea i think i would enjoy getting away from it at night, we are only going to be going for 5 days there is only so much disney u can squeeze into that short amount of time. but at the same time i dont want to constantly waiting for a bus. it will probaby come down to money in the end. thank you for your insight!

Are you still seeing the property in your original post as the 3* hotel i'm seeing in the LBV zone for your dates has different amenities, and is priced about $10 more per nite.

Best guess for this property would be Country Inn and Suites.
