rgh777 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 I'd like to bid on PRICELINE for a 4* in TS or MTW but don't want the Sheraton NY Hotel and Towers to be selected. Any tips on avoiding this property?
AaronJB Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There's no way of avoiding a particular property when bidding on PRICELINE. The Sheraton is a 4* in MTW, and if you attempt to bid for a 4* in MTW, you could possibly wind up here. I would recommend seeing if HOTWIRE had any hotels that appealed instead - which will likely cost more, but at least you can make an educated guess as to which hotels may be showing - or not bid for 4* MTW.Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Let us know how you'd like to proceed.
llh58 Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 is there a certain reason you dont want to stay here? My friend and I stayed last june and had a great time. They put us on the 48th floor and let use they club floor which was free breakfast and drinks...We only payed $118 a nite and had a great stay...it is very close to Times Square, subway, etc.....just a thought
rgh777 Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 I'm going to take my chances and bid 4* in MTW, TS and CPS.Why not avoid bidding the MTW zone then? Also, is there a reason you're avoiding the MTE and/or ESB zones? If you'd like help with a bidding strategy let us know your maximum bid and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
