akhon
Hi all,Just want to share the details of a few hotel reservations made through Hotwire to help out in your decision-making process.Flamingo Las Vegas - 3.5* - The StripMarch 23, 2005 for 2 nights at $50 / nightAmenities are Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Gym, Spa, Golf, Tennis, Business CentreNote: Appears to be a good deal. Boooking with the hotel directly was going to be $75 / night (latest rate calendar shows $105).Golden Gate - 2.5* - Downtown Las VegasMarch 30, 2005 for 2 nights at $35 / nightAmenities are Casino, RestaurantNote: Unfortunately this turned out to be the first bad deal I got through Hotwire. It's actually cheaper to book directly through the hotel or via www.vegas.com - their rates seem higher but the booking fee on Hotwire more than nullify the saving - and booking fee is not eligible for the Double the Difference guarantee.Venetian - 5* - Customer Favourite - The StripApril 3, 2005 for 2 nights at $117 / nightAmenities are Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Gym, Spa, High Speed Internet, Golf, Tennis, Business CentreNote: Definitely good deal!!! Hotel charging $169 / night. Was hoping to stay at Paris Las Vegas (admittedly my favourite) but booking through the Paris website is $139 / night, so why wouldn't you want to pay less for the Venetian?Good luck everyone.
