ziggs007 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Just received the Westin Resort and Spa for $90 a night :). I was excited to see that the Sheraton was no longer considered a resort on PRICELINE as I wanted to avoid that property based on the reviews. I used the PRICELINE link above and started bidding at $70, increasing my amount by $5 every 24hrs. At $80 I got the message if you increase your bid by $22 you can rebid now . . . decided against this and kept w/ my strategy of increasing by $5, finally winning the Westin @ $90. The best rate I had found on the web for this same hotel was $189/night. My wife is thrilled and so am I. :) Thanks for all the helpful info betterbidding . . . love the site. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $90.00 (USD)Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 6Room Subtotal: $540.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $111.42 (USD)Total Room Cost: $651.42 (USD)
toledo Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Congratulations!!!! You did exactly what I SHOULD have done. The Westin should be much better than the Sheraton!
