mychicas Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I am trying to find a hotel in London for 2 adults and 2 children from 3-10 to 3-18. I got a quote from HOTWIRE for $135/night for a 4* Mayfair-Soho hotel. Anyone have any ideas what this might be? I have never traveled to London before. The kids are 8 and 10 so we will need at least 1 big bed and a sofa or 2 queens.Any other suggestins for bids on PRICELINE?Thank you!MychicasJust got a 4* for Bloomsbury-Marble Arch for $116 - any thoghts on that?
thereuare Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, so unless you are bidding on two rooms, i wouldn't recommend using PRICELINE for quad occupancy in Europe. For help with the HOTWIRE hotels above, please include the amenities that HOTWIRE associates with each property. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. mychicas Posted February 20, 2010 Author Report Posted February 20, 2010 Thank you for the reply! The HOTWIRE Hotels are as follows:Mayfair/Soho : $135/night for 4*. Amenities are high speed internet and restaurant.Regents Park-Baker Street-Camden Lock: $114/night. No-smoking/restaurant/fitness center/business center/internetNo five stars listed'Thanks again!
thereuare Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Hard to be too confident with just two, common, amenities, but the 4* Mayfair-Soho matches previous reports for the Holiday Inn Mayfair so that would be my best guess for this one. The Regents Park property matches the Holiday Inn Camden Lock so that would be my best guess for that one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
