suze77 Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Hello. Going to Ft. Lauderdale for a wedding at the Hyatt Pier 66 and would like to try Priceline for a better deal (the wedding guests' "deal" is $219 a night!). From what I saw, the Hyatt was the only 4* in the Beach area, so I'm hoping our chances are good for actually getting this hotel. What is a good bidding strategy? We need one room for 2/20/05. I saw some good deals from previous bidders' posts, and would like to stay under $100.Thanks in advance for your help!
thereuare Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! When bidding 4* in this area you have four re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding you can read about it here: PRICELINE BIDDING 72 HOURS (note: areas with Resort levels are not re-bid zones, even if they don't offer 4* properties). Feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board if you're unsure.Select 4* Ft.
