Priceline Hotel: 3* Atlantic City-Cape May (Atlantic City) Chelsea

First time price wire, first time Better Bidding; and yes, I used the PRICELINE link.

I won on my first bid of $101 for 1 night in Atlantic City, Atlantic City Area on Friday, March 5th it came out to $124.05 after fees.

Has anyone bid below $100 and gotten a room in AC recently?

Just called the Chelsea, they said I can't reserve a room type, just the rate. Any idea how I can make sure I get two beds instead of one?

PRICELINE reservations are only guaranteed for double occupancy (2 people/1 bed) Customers can request a room with two beds at the hotel either before or at check-in, but it's up to the hotel.

Have stayed at the Chelsea on a Friday night priceline win before. They *only* had the King room available - no rooms with two beds. Also, there is a fee for valet parking. Try to arrive early and you may get a room with two beds

Stayed at the Chelsea last week. My dad smoked in the room and they charged a $250 fee directly to his card. I'm not a smoker so I had no problems. Staying there again this weekend.

I stayed at this hotel same weekend 3/5/10-3/6/10. This was the second time I priceline'd it. The first time I won my bid with $75. So I tried lower this last stay and got the bid for $50, with tax cost me $65. The $10 valet fee is fine for me when I feel so comfortable with this staff. ( I accisentally left $100 cash in the car at my first stay and it was still in my car when they brought it back!!)

They are very helpful and I did go with my 2 children, the King size bed was perfect for us and the view was awesome!!!

Can't wait to priceline AC again and stay at the Chelsea!!
