thereuare Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I think you have a shot at a 4* hotel, but another $15-$20/nite would likely increase your chances, imo. Let's try up to $130 for starters and if unsuccessful we'll take it from there. At the 4* level you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* MTE and TS...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* CPS and MTW...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* MTE, TS, CPS, and MTW...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130I don't really the think the sub-$100 bids have much of a chance, but might as well give it a try nonetheless. Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. bludnik Posted May 10, 2010 Author Report Posted May 10, 2010 i attempted further to get a 4 star within my budget, but failed to do so on Priceline. What i did however, was find a booking code on a forum for the Roosevelt Hotel, which gave me two double rooms at $99 per room per night, tax and breakfast included. It was a fantastic offer they had for their "fans" on facebook and twitter.Had a fantastic stay at a fantastic rate... :)
