thepirate08 Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Hi All!,New to Washington Area and as a tourist which area would be best for staying? I apologize deeply if i am posting in the wrong part of the forums. I would like to be relatively close to all the attractions, would downtown be a safer bet or capitol hill?Thank you so very much!
austin_res Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Either the White House or Capital Hill zones would be best for seeing the attractions. Most sights are within walking distance, or a short metro ride from these 2 zones.
