Randi66 Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 Duh, I should know how to spell it. Looking @ March 18th-21st. I bid 45 and 50 and was denied. I bid for a 3* Happy Travelling, Randi
thereuare Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 I'm guessing the 3* property on HOTWIRE is likely the Four Points, also rated 3* by PRICELINE, so you're probably not too far off. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Keep us updated. Randi66 Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 Used the information from another poster. Bid 47$ on and was succesful on first try. Used the PRICELINE link. I was bidding for San Rafael because I didnt want to pay for SF parking. Was going to take the Larkspur ferry into the city. I'll still do that, but will stay with a friend on Thursday night and spend 3 nights CAR-FREE in SF. Happy Travelling, Randi
Randi66 Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 I gave up on San Rafael and went into the city. I was trying to save $$ on parking as I have a friend who lives in San Rafael and we could park at her place and take the Larkspur ferry into the city. I'll still do that on March 18th( staying at her place the night before) and will take the Ferry back on Sunday. 47$ for the Holiday Inn Fisherman's wharf is pretty reasonable especially if I dont have to pay for parking. ThanksRandi Happy Travelling, Randi
AaronJB Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Congratulations on your success. :)Excellent deal for this Holiday Inn property! Glad the other post was able to help with this purchase. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using the site's PRICELINE link to start your purchase.Enjoy your stay.
shipoopi Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 randi66 - does that $47 include taxes and fees? That's the hotel I want to stay at. I saw another post for the same hotel where someone paid $54/night but ended up being $70/night with taxes and fees (which is actually a tad more than doing a flight/hotel combo on PL).Just curious...thx
yellowdog Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 shipoopiWelcome to BetterBidding!No, the $47 doesn't include tax/fee.Yellowdog.
