cybirg
Hi,Does anyone know if $115 is a good rate at Affinia Chicago 16-20th July? Do you think I could do significantly better using PRICELINE or HOTWIRE now or close to the summer? Link to comment
AaronJB
I think you could do at least moderately better by using HOTWIRE or PRICELINE; HOTWIRE has a 4* NMA for $95, and you could see if PRICELINE could take a bit at least somewhat better than that ($75-80 for a 4* in the River North/NMA zone.)Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. thereuare
... athough keep in mind that if you go the PRICELINE or HOTWIRE route, you may (likely) receive a hotel other than the Affinia Chicago. Not sure if this was a hotel you were trying to target or were just interested due to the price.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. cybirg
Thanks for the advice. I am not interested in any particular hotel. Any 4* will do. Link to comment
thereuare
See the related "bid early or late" link in our PRICELINE FAQ.If/when you're ready to bid let s know the zone(s) you're willing to accept and your maximum bid and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. AaronJB
I'm seeing a 4* in the NMA-Water Tower-Gold Coast area on HOTWIRE w/fitness, restaurant, internet and business. This could be the Allerton, Knickerbocker, Drake or Westin Michigan Ave, but with the 4/5 tripadvisor rating I'm currently seeing on the detail page, this would appear to be a match for the Knickerbocker or Drake. You could likely do moderately better bidding on a 4* in the River North/NMA area, and you could start reasonably low, given how much time you have until your stay. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. thereuare
At the 4* level you have FIVE re-bid zones.
