I saw others got the Holiday Inn in Goleta for $62. Unfortunately I didn't get it. Tried to rebid immediately having my spouse bid but PRICELINE knew it was a duplicate bid. Will try again tomorrow at a higher price.

Well, I only have one more chance to bid (tonight) since we are headed to SB tomorrow. I'll probably increase my bid by $5. If I had more time, I'd increase my bids incrementally up to about $75-$80. If I don't win my bid tonight, I'll likely book something through Hotwire in Goleta in the $80-$90 range. I don't want to change my search criteria to enable more bids because I really do want to stay in Goleta instead of Santa Barbara (our friends live in Goleta.)

My bid for $70 was just accepted (2-20-10 through 2-22-10). I got the 2.5* Holiday Inn in Goleta, as I was expecting. Thanks for the help! I used the PRICELINE link from this website.

I initially bid $62 (on 2/18/10) and was rejected. My re-bid of $70 today (2/19/10) for a 2.5* in Goleta was accepted. I might have gotten it a few bucks cheaper if I had more days to bid.
