charms Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Walked up a few rebids from around $80, looking to stay in the Convention Center/Capital Hill or White House / Downtown areas.$80, 95, 110, and 125 failed for 4* with various rebids on Convention Center. My 4* rebids for Convention Center were Alexandria West, Bethesda, DC Suburbs NE, Mt. Vernon, and Silver Spring. Nothing worked...started to look over at Hotwire but everything was still $200+ a night.So I started over and tried again for 3.5* Convention Center/Capital Hill at $130. Failed. Rebid at $140 by adding White House and won.$325 total for two nights with tax and everything, 4* right in the heart of Chinatown at the last minute. Great deal!
