Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Juan InterContinental

New to this board...but have a question.

We are looking at going to San Juan from 3/29 to 4/5 and have 2 adults and 2 kids. When I went to hotwire and tried 2 adults and 2 kids - only 3.5 * show up. When I typed in 4 adults (in one room) I get a 4* hotel in San Juan area with the following amenities:

Resort

Beachfront

Casino

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Laundry Facilities

High-speed Internet Access

Tennis Nearby

Spa Services

My guess is that it is the intercontinental but was wondering if specifying 4 adults instead of 2 adults and 2 kids will cause problems

There shouldn't be any problem booking for 4adults and showing us with 2adults/2chidren. This would only be an issue at an 'adults only' property which for the most part are all-inclusives. I agree with your guess above, and the InterContinental is not an adults only property... i've stayed here myself previously and had my child (only one at the time) in tow.

Booked it last night (using your HOTWIRE link) and the 4* was the intercontinental...saved 18%-25% off of what we found elsewhere

Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you're happy with the results.

If you leave the hotel and head to the right, at the end of a small strip mall (the stores are perpendicular to the road) is a bagel shop (it might be called the Golden Bagel and Bakery) which makes for a casual, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast... and they make some of the best cafe con leche i've ever tasted.
