2 weeks ago this (2/4-2/5/2010), with the tennis icon, was the Fairfax (my bad for using the links and not reporting it, but it's been a little nuts in this area with the back-to-back blizzards). I'm wondering if it's still the Fairfax with the tennis just hidden now b/c we're all buried under snow?

I'll of course use the BB HOTWIRE link to book.

nope, and I tried it in and outside of your link too. price now showing as $114.

I see the "no Spa" property when searching for 1adult/0children... and with the Spa when searching for 2adults/0children (same price for each). Are you able to see the property with the Spa icon when searching for 2adults?

With the Spa this is a match for the The Madison a Loews Hotel, so that would be my best guess. I'll also speculate, given the same price and HOTWIRE statistics, that the hotel without the Spa icon is also the Madison Loews but choosing to hide this amenity when searching for only 1adult. However, if you are interested in trying to target this property it would be 'safer' to purchase as 2adults since this is the 'stronger' match based upon previous reports.

thank you for the tip of trying to look with 2 people in the search. I used your HOTWIRE link and I saw the SPA icon. normally I would jump at the chance to try the Madison at that price, but the city is a mess and I wanted something a lot closer to my workplace, so I am going to have to go with plan b, unfortunately.

Sorry to ask in another person topic, but I'm also interested in this hotel for July (for a friend of mine).

Do you think Thereuare that is it possible to accommodate more than 2 people? Because we have a choice of bed and we could choose 2 double beds.

Otherwise a cheaper hotel would be the choise (for 2 rooms).
