Hi. My mom introduced me to these forums recently after having used them for many of our family vacations, and they are great. Thank you for all the hard work!

A college friend and I are visiting the NYC area for 2 nights from the 25th - 27th, before we fly out to the bahamas from LGA. We are looking for a hotel that would be convenient for shopping, probably 5th ave/57th area, as well as being convenient to some of the tourist nyc spots, and the gay bar/club scene. If you are able to provide any information regarding which hotels/areas to look at please let me know. All help is greatly appreciated!!!

probably 3 or 4 star. Not sure of the budget yet. I don't really want to spend more than 100-ish per night

Bid $100 for 4* in MTE & MTW and it didn't get accepted, so I tried $110 and it went through. The dates for this stay are the February 25th - 27th!
