Priceline Hotel: 3* NYC (MSG-Convention) New Yorker

I just got the New Yorker from 3/30 to 4/4 for $100 a night.

Since I wanted to know if I could get it (or some other hotel) for less money than other users reported, I tried the following bidding scheme:

3* MSG $75 rejected

3* MSG, TS $80 rejected

3* MSG, CPS $85 rejected

3* MSG, CPS, TS $85 rejected

3* MSG, MTW $85 rejected

3* MSG, MTW, TS $90 rejected

3* MSG, CPS, MTW $95 counter-offer to raise $22

3* MSG, CPS, MTW, TS $100 accepted New Yorker

I just received the Priceline confirmation via e-mail, and I noticed a weird thing.

My last name is shown as one word (without spaces) where it is actually two words.

For example (using different name for discetion) the confirmation shows 'Devries', where my actual last name would be 'de Vries'.

I am sure I entered it correctly while reserving the room.

Will this be a problem on check-in?

The missing space in your name shouldn't be a probem, but just remember this fact in case the hotel can't find your reservation, so you can tell them "try it without the space, sometimes computer forms remove it automatically". As well, bring a printout of your winning bid confirmation (which is always good policy regardless) as it's always easier to solve any problems that may arise with all that information inhand and easily accessible.
