Please help identify these Hotwire hotels . Both are Union square East for 3 nights from Monday 7th June 2010 and both look the same!!

The 4.5* would likely be the Intercontinental, while the 4* would be possibly the Palomar, Grand Hyatt, Westin Market Street or Parc 55.

Best guess is that this is the Galleria Park with the addition of a Smoke Free icon since it was last reported.

Sorry to hear this one didn't go as expected :)

On the positive side this hotel does get good reviews, so hopefully it will work well for your plans.

Also, HOTWIRE does have a "Double the Difference Guarantee", however, it's based upon room rate, and the site above does not detail the pricing between room rate and taxes/fees, so not sure how they would handle it... although i would file a claim with them asap. Perhaps if you can get them to honor the rate above (and credit twice the difference) this will turn out to be a deal afterall.

Customer services responded to my request for a 'refund' very quickly, but cannot help. The price from Tripadvisor incuded tax and I couldn't find their price without it. So, despite the total price being less than Hotwire, they will not match or compensate. Not a bargain this time , but a nice hotel nevertheless.
