Golfer65 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Taking the Wife 2/13-2/14 looking @ Hotwire could some help on the following...North Michigan Avenue - Water Tower - Gold Coast Hotel $89 3.5* Boutique, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High-Speed Internet, Spa, Golf, Tennis Icon. $119 4* Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-Speed Internet, Spa. I really would like the Sutton Place do they work with Hotwire? I really do NOT want the Ambassador East Hotel. Thanks in advance! I'll happy to use your HOTWIRE link.
thereuare Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! The 4* matches previous reportes for the W Chicago Lakeshore so that would be my best guess for that one.The 3.5* matches the Hotel Indigo so that would be my best guess there. Thanks for using our PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 If this is for a Valentine's Day getaway, I'd recommend the Indigo, which would be a quieter, cuter property (plus, some nice restaurants nearby and - if the weather isn't horrible, it's a relatively easy walk to the Zoo.)
Golfer65 Posted February 10, 2010 Author Report Posted February 10, 2010 Thanks for the info. Sorry one more. Just saw this... Magnificent Mile Area - Streeterville Hotel $93 4* Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-Speed Internet, Tennis Icon, Spa.Is it the InterContinental? Or another hotel?
AaronJB Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 This would likely be the Swissotel. If you want large and modern, the Swiss is a very nice property. Cute, cozy and more intimate, I'd go with the Indigo.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Golfer65 Posted February 11, 2010 Author Report Posted February 11, 2010 Great Job Aaron! That was the Swissotel. Got it for $93. Normal price $179+Took it based on current reviews from TA. Plus, my wife loves a pool and City views. We travel to Chicago a few times a year. First time I have used HOTWIRE and your site. I'll be sure to check next time, using your HOTWIRE link. -Again!P.S. Sorry, thereuare...Go Hawkeyes!! (in football at least)
