jhschlak Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Hello,I was hoping to get some assistance with my airline tickets for a trip that I will be taking to Europe. I am going from Cleveland, Ohio to Frankfurt, Germany on May 20th (arriving May 21st) and return from Vienna, Austria to cleveland on June 5th. Since it is a multi-city flight, many of the flight checker sites cannot check the airfares. Orbitz is the one that keeps coming back with the best price (around $1000.00 for 1 stop each way, and $850.00 for 2 stops each way). I was wondering if I can bid on a multi-city trip with priceline? I was hoping to get something for between $500 and $600. Any bidding strategy welcome (that is, if I am able to bid at priceline). Thanks,Jeff
thereuare Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Priceline offers multi-destination search, but for the above itinerary it only came back with 'regular' (non-opaque) fares, none cheaper than what you have provided above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
jhschlak Posted January 21, 2005 Author Report Posted January 21, 2005 So there is no way to bid on a trip like this on priceline?-Jeff
timstravel Posted January 27, 2005 Report Posted January 27, 2005 You might want to try cheaptickets.com if you haven't made other arrangements already.I just ran a search on your flight parameters and they came up with an itinerary for $670 (1-stop out, 2-stops back). That's a little closer to your target price.Good luck!
