Hi, I am planning on taking my kids to Las Vegas from 2/16 thru 2/20. I will need to book 2 rooms.

Looking at HOTWIRE, can you help identify this 4 STAR hotels?

Near South Strip: casino, fitness, resaurant, business, hi-speed internet, golf nearby.

I want a 4 star, but I am really trying to avoid the Luxor. I would prefer to stay at either the NYNY, planet hollywood, treasure Island or MGM.

Do be aware that while this hotel generally gets very good reviews, it is quite a way off the strip, and you would need a car to get to the main part of the strip.

What is your budget for this trip? (per room per nite before taxes and fees)

Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?

Are your kids of "child" age or are they adults? Do you prefer a hotel with a Casino or one without? Have you considered one room? How many total guests, adults/children, will you be? Will you have a car?

1st room: 2 adults and 2 kids

2nd room: 1 adult

Yes, i'm willing to split reservations but do we still have a chance at being in the same hotel?

I would like to have a casino in the hotel.

SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID would not be booking one room at a time, but rather booking the first 2 or 3 nites of your stay at one hotel and then the last 1 or 2 nites at a different hotel.

You may (likely) have to change hotels for the second leg of your stay, but you may be able to save some money by doing so given this stay encompasses midweek and a Friday nite.

Unfortunately i see very little around the $90 mark when including quad occupancy for one of the rooms.

If you're willing to book for double occupancy (and you can request a room with 2 queen beds via the reservation) i think the first 3 nites at the MGM Grand for ~$75/nite may be your best option.

If you click this link to the MGM Grand website, click "Special Offers" on the top left corner of the page, they offer 2/16-2/19 for $229 (double occupancy) for the first three nites. Unfortuantely 'declaring' the children makes the price jump by a fair amount, but on the reservation you can request a room with 2 Queen beds. Given it's midweek, the size of the hotel, and the fact you've booked directly with the hotel, i would think your chances of having the bedding request honored would be 'pretty good', but no guarantees.

Then you would just need to find something affordable for the Friday nite 2/19.

Are you comfortable with the double/quad occupancy issue for this stay and would the work for your plans?
