Hotwire Hotel: NY ID Hotels 17/3 - 23/3 - MTC & Downtown

Hi all,

Im travelling to NYC with my other half on 17th March - 23rd March and Hotwire has given me the following results :

Midtown Central Hotel - 3.5* - $115 per night - Fitness Centre,Restaurant, High Speed Internet.

Downtown Soho - 3.5* - $109 per night - Fitness Centre, Business Centre, Laundry, High Speed Internet

These would be the only hotels in or around my budget. Looking for somewhere clean and good location, plus i know

i will be there St.Patricks day which will make it even harder.

If you could help me identify these hotels i would greatly appreciate it.

The 3.5* MTC would likely be the Club Quarters, while the 3.5* Downtown would likely be the World Center.

Also, while i was looking i also see :

Chelsea - Madison Square Garden Area Hotel - 3.5* - Fitness Centre, Restaurant, Business Centre and High Speed Internet.

Any ideas what this could be. price is showing up at $113.

Im in the same boat, travelling to NY for 6 nights from 3/17/10 - 3/23/10 and looking for a hotel in around

the same price. obviously the cheaper the better, but would like a good 3.5* or 4* if possible.

looking for a hotel with good location, dont mind if its not smack bang in the middle of the action! nice, clean and tidy, nothing fantastic, but with good reviews and at a price less than $115 per night! if possible!

Unfortunately, the two HOTWIRE listings above are the only ones currently showing on that service in that price range. You could try PRICELINE, but the result would be less known, as if you bid for 3.5* (for example) in an area, you could potentially get any 3.5* in that zone.

What about the New Yorker Ramada Plaza which has received good reviews since their recent renovation.

Hi all,

Ive been on here before and have been looking for a decent 3.5* in any decent location in NYC.

I havent got a chance to getting around to booking anywhere yet but i need something as time is running out quickly!

As said, looking for 3.5* or up and my budget is max $120 a night (inc tax), location is not the most important as indeed

using subway and walking during my trip, but obviously dont want to be too far from the action.

i know this is a tough ask but thats as much as i can afford.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We can suggest a strategy to try, but as $120 all-in is a bid price of under $100, i don't think you'll be successful. What is your back-up plan?
