tcruizin Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I'm a newbie! Have read your tutorial on adding zones to rebid. My question is that I want to check out the priceline site but I'm so afraid of placing a bid I'm not ready for...I think your tutorial will make more sense to me if I can check out how you go back and forth between screens and such. Is this possible?Do you think it's too early to start looking for deals for this date? I would think this wouldn't be high season but not sure what the demand is like there in the summer. (hot wire has a 4* resort for $149:resort,beachfront,casino,pool,restaurant,business center, laundry, hi-peed internet, tennis nearby, spa)I may be booking for the rest of my group so might be needing 3 rooms for 6 people, one night stay. Do you have any thoughts on the success (ie. better rates) on booking several rooms vs. one room. Hope I've made myself clear and that I am posting in the right place! I really appreciate the help!
thereuare Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!Generally speaking, summer is usually slow season for San Juan. As far as when to bid, you can see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.You can 'safely' go to PRICELINE (please use our link) and click the various zones in order to see the star ratings available in each. This is done before entering any credit card info, so there is no way that you'll make a mistake and be charged for something as long as you haven't entered your cc info.Booking multiple rooms is usually a non-event, but if it does have an effect, it's to your detriment. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
