Looking at a 4* in Hollywood Beach for $79/night.

The amenities are...Resort, Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-speed internet and Golf nearby.

Not sure if it's the Westin Diplomat or Crowne Plaza.

Also how do they decide what kind of bed you have in the room (2 doubles or king)?

Both the Westin and the Crowne Plaza have been reported with this amenity combination in the past, so either is likely. Lately the Crowne Plaza has been appearing without a Business icon, so i'd slightly favor the Westin, but you should be prepared for either.

All that is guaranteed with your HOTWIRE purchase is sleeping accomodations for everyone you include in your search... after that bed configuration would be assigned by the hotel at time of check-in. If you're looking for two beds you may want to see if this same hotel appears when searching for 2adults/1child as this would ensure separate sleeping accomdoations, although the 'second bed' could be an actual second bed, pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc.

It was indeed the Westin!

I booked just one night first to check which hotel it was and then booked the other six after I saw it was the Westin.
