thereuare
Given your criteria, assuming you have a MasterCard i wouldn't use Priceline or Hotwire this trip... look HERE and you can book the Orleans for about $22/nite. REVIEWS are very good too! For the price and value, i don't think it can be beat.Let us know if you go with this or if we can be of additional assistance. DWMott
I have some information and a question about the Orleans. Going through their web site and using the promotion code that is on the screen accessible through the recommended link in Betterbidding, I was quoted a Master Card 50% of rate of about $72/night for a "View" Room. I called the hotel's 800 # to ask a few questions about parking, shuttles, etc. and just for the heck of it asked them their quote for the same nights, same room, with the Master Card discount. It was $32/night. Big Difference. My question is, the reviews (mostly) sound good, but how can the price be so low? I usually believe you get what you pay for; so if this place is really such a good deal, how come it's SO cheap? Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
What are the dates of your stay? How can the rates be so low:-it's an off-strip property-there is a plethora of hotel rooms in Vegas, if there is no convention or other even going on, rates go down very quickly-studies show the average guest gambles more hours at the hotel they're staying at than any other property... so hotels can often user room rates as a loss leader to get guests in the door (and hopefully make it back, and then some, at the casino) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
DWMott
Thanks for the information. We plan to stay there on 4/13 and 4/14 and then also on 4/18. Any additional information will be appreciated. And your site is great!Don M. Link to comment
bbbb
Orleans is not far from the strip and has a good cheap lunch buffet for about $7. Link to comment
thereuare
When you got that $70-something rate online the MasterCard promo code was probably not in the box, as i just checked your date(s) and indeed the rate promo rate is in the mid-$30's.Although The Orleans is not far from the strip, it is too far to walk.
