Priceline Hotel: Help in Dallas (Arlington area)

Hi there,

I have tried unsuccessfully twice (through your PRICELINE link) to book a 3.5 star in the Arlington - Grand Prairie area. It seems either the hilton or sheraton have been won for 40-45/ night. I tried 40, denied, then 46 (and added arlington south to the list) and was denied. What other area can I add to try to bid again to make sure I get in the Arlington area with a 3.5*?

I just big AGAIN and added Knox - Northpark area because they didn't have any 3.5* and got rejected at $50...

Ugh Im frustrated...I wanted the 10th-14th of february...I just tried another unsuccessful bid at $55 a night and changed my check in date to the 11th (keeping areas checked as arlington - grand prairie/ arlington south/ knox-northpark). I really dont want to spend more then $250.00, which is why I went to the 11th instead of the 10th, to stay under budget if I have to raise my price...

Your weekend dates are more expensive than usual, which usually means you'll need a higher than usual bid to be accepted. At the moment, i don't see this complete stay coming in at under $250... are you willing to lower your star quality to the 3* level and/or SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID? Can you drop the weekend nites of your stay and add to the beginning of your stay if you need a certain number of nites in the area... or was this more of a Valentine's Day get-a-way?
