Noran Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I am trying to book a hotel on Molokai in Hawaii. HOTWIRE doesn't have any listed. PRICELINE has 3. Since I'll be traveling from Maui on a ferry with my bicycle, I'm trying to eliminate one of the hotels because of the distance from the ferry dock. However, they're all listed as 2 star hotels and all within the same region. I was wondering if there was some way of eliminating the risk of being given the hotel that's too far away. ThanksNoran
thereuare Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! When bidding on PRICELINE you must be able to accept any hotel in the zone... there is no way to target, or avoid, a specific property. However, i'll also add that if you're using the "retail" version of PRICELINE to determine what you will receive when 'naming your own price', the two arms if their service use a different universe of hotels. There are some hotels on the 'retail' side that don't participate in the 'bidding' side and vice versa. See the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
