karrots Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 I need a nice hotel (3 or 4 star) for Thurs 1/20 for one night in the Long Beach area. I prefer Long Beach, but would also stay around Long Beach Airport. I tried Priceline. On my first bid I did 4* Long Beach on 1/20 for $45 - failed. Next, I added Long Beach Airport and increased bid to $48 - failed. Finally, I tried 3 & 4 stars and increased bid to $50 - failed again. I researched this before I bid and others succeeded earlier in the week for the same price range for 4* in Long Beach.Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks -K
